I have been cross stitching since 1994 and I learned a lot more than I ever thought possible when I found stitching. There was lovely floss and fabric,the myriad of designs to stitch, ways to finish my work and collecting stash. Thursday, September 6, 2012. CML is what I have. I was diagnosed on Aug 15, 2012 with chronic myelogenous leukemia in the emergency room at Timpanogos Hospital in Orem, Utah. And then I got a Foley. A what? My mom came and stayed with me all day Wednesday, only leaving at 6 pm because our home teachers were coming. I finally fell asleep at 10 pm, only to be awak.

Times have changed and despite being disappointed, there is nothing left to surrender to the evidence. Saturday, November 11, 2017. Crowned Bird Sampler by Plum Street Samplers. It was stitched on Lakeside Linens 36 count Vintage Meadow Rue using the called for NPI and Belle Soie floss. Tuesday, May 23, 2017. April, May, and July Wordplays by With Thy Needle and Thread. All were stitched on 40ct Zweigart Country Mocha Newcastle linen using the called for GAST and WDW floss. And, progress was made on Crowned Bird Sampler by Plum Street Samplers.

Well, I had a relatively decent bank holiday and have had some time to get some stitching done! I finished the Disney ATC for CSF and my recipient was very happy with it which is great. Here it is in all its piglet-ty glory. Here she is at 35 hours. And where I left off at 40 hours. Friday, 27 August 2010. Anyway, good news! I was quite happy with how this one .
The things I stitch and the books I read. Friday, July 31, 2015. Finally, pictures of the rest of my finishes. I made two charity baby quilts. I had a variety of pink fabrics that were smaller squares than I usually keep. An odd size that seemed wasteful to cut down to the sizes I normally keep. I have a few more WIPs.
